Stepping Stones was founded by Suzanne Coward and Joy Parnham in 2005. Now a part of Ark Community Church, Stepping Stones provides relevant and meaningful day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities. We meet on Tuesdays from 10am - 2pm at Ark Community Church Mere Green.

What we do
At Stepping Stones, we encourage adults with learning difficulties to be independent and learn new skills to take into their everyday lives. Through a variety of creative crafts, keep fit sessions and open discussion, we allow each person to explore their own abilities and grow together
In line with our Christian ethos, everyone has equal value and is an equally important member to society. This is the attitude that is brought to our sessions and makes for open relationships based on mutual respect and helps create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
