The Team
Pastor Stephen Eaves
Stephen spent 25 years working in healthcare before responding to a call to serve God full-time. Since then, he has led Ark through a number of major developments and transformations. The church has grown from a small group meeting in a rented room once a week, to becoming a well established and thriving congregation made up of diverse ages, backgrounds and nationalities. Ark now has its own building, which has been extended to double its size, and holds two services each Sunday. It is home to many groups, activities and charities that benefit the local community. Stephen has been married to Nandini for over thirty years and together they have two children and two grandchildren.
Assistant Pastor Lynn Jennings
Lynn had two careers prior to partnering God in our church and community. She was a ward sister in busy hospitals and then she pursued a passion to become a teacher for young children. Lynn has been a follower of Jesus all her life but had a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit shortly after joining Ark. Following this call on her life, Lynn left teaching, went into training and became the Community Engagement Leader with the aim of networking with groups and agencies in our local area and sharing the Good News about Jesus. Her passion for ministry both inside and outside the church has continued to grow. She has now become Assistant Pastor and supports Stephen. Lynn is married to Chris and they have two children.
